Raye Alarcio (they/them) was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, California. Their poetry and prose are published or forthcoming in two award-winning WriteGirl anthologies, The Lumiere Review, Rogue Agent, Exposition Review, at LAX's Terminal 7-8, and elsewhere. They are a 2019 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Silver Medalist in Short Story and once opened for internationally-touring slam poet Caroline Rothstein.
